Hardeman, US
The building was built in 1911 by Harry L. McCoy. It is made out of over 4,000 cast concrete blocks that were cast by hand and shaking the forms to settle the concrete. In the beginning, the upstairs consisted of 13 rooms and was used as a boarding house for several decades. Later the top floor became apartments, and then finally the top floor was used as a living area for the owner.
The bottom floor is divided in two and was always rented out for stores. It's been everything from an auto repair shop to a furniture store.
