The Section Line Road Tract (#03019-03906) is a 36-acre (per GIS Estimate) tract of timberland located in Vernon Parish a couple of miles southwest of Leesville and New Llano, LA (North 31.0749°, West 93.30517°). The majority of the property was planted in 2013 with loblolly pine and has yet to be first-thinned. About four acres along the western side of the property stands as a cypress-tupelo area formed by Castor Bayou. Access is excellent with Section Line Road, a paved road, running along the southern boundary of the property. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the property is based upon Guyton-Lulus complex which gives the land an excellent weighted average site index of 95 feet for Loblolly Pine (base age 50 for the portion rated.
